"I have spent the last 22 years of my life as a member of the Pennsylvania State Police, having served as a Patrol Unit Trooper, warrant Trooper, Firearms Instructor at the State Police Academy in Hershey, Police Skills driving Instructor at the Academy, Patrol Unit Supervisor, Staff Services Section Supervisor, and now in my current role as the Recruitment Services Section Commander.
Having personally served as an instructor in both the Firearms and Police Skills Units at the Academy, I can attest to the fact that the State Police Academy standards are high, and the training is physically and mentally grueling; but it is well worth it.
