Enlisting in the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) and becoming a trooper has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my personal and professional life. Even without any prior law enforcement experience, the Pennsylvania State Police Academy prepared and equipped me with the tools to excel as a patrol trooper. Prior to joining PSP, I earned a degree in Biology from Susquehanna University and held positions in Higher Education at both Susquehanna and Bucknell Universities. As an associate director, I successfully impacted the university community in a positive way by assisting and supporting students with their transition to college. After gaining experience in Higher Education, I wanted to make a greater impact in both my local and the lager community. After careful evaluation, I determined that PSP would truly afford me that rewarding opportunity!
With the assistance of a PSP recruiter, I made the transition to the PSP academy after completing my Written & Oral examination; Polygraph; Background Investigation; Physical Readiness Test; Medical Examination; and Psychological evaluation. After graduating the Pennsylvania State Police Academy, I was assigned to patrol in Troop H Chambersburg. I worked patrol in Chambersburg and Newport before joining the Recruitment Services Section as a Recruiter. As a recruiter, I assist everyone that is interested in joining the first and finest state police organization!
